U11s vs Teddington Town report

Hampton Hill CC U11s had their second game of the season tonight against local rivals Teddington Town. In an enjoyable game the Town batted first and were restricted to 87 /8 thanks to some good all round bowling and fielding from the Hill. Notable mentions to Joe Edet for a wicket and 2 catches and to wee Danny Mackinney who took 3 wickets in 4 balls and ended up with 4/3 off his 2 overs including a wicket off a no ball. The Town had their own secret weapon with leg spinner Matthew who ripped out our top order taking 4/5 .Joe and Adam Mackinney steadied the ship to top score with 11 and 10 respectively but despite some good batting from Oisin Ryan and Ellie McCartney the hill ended up 68 all out. Think all the supporters enjoyed the game and both sides will be looking forward to the rematch.
