Thank You from HHCC’s President, Dave Mackinney.

A big thank you to everyone who came to Bushy Park on Sunday to celebrate HHCC’s annual President’s Day. It was wonderful to see so many people there, all sitting along the boundary enjoying the cricket and the day.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all those members, wives, girlfriends and friends who contributed to the fantastic buffet that was enjoyed by everyone. As one of my team commented, in all his years of playing cricket, that was the best food he had seen or tasted. You all did the club proud.
A special thank you has to go to my wonderful “First Lady”, Nikki, who organised the day and made sure that everything ran smoothly. There were so many people who helped throughout the day, that it would be impossible to mention them all here, but once again, thank you all.
I was overwhelmed by Nigel Coates’ kind words during the unveiling of the Foundation Stone, to commemorate the completion of our fantastic new pavilion. The support I received yesterday from everyone makes me feel extremely proud and humble to be President of this very special cricket club.
