Senior Awards

The Senior Awards night was a great celebration of achievement for the 2015 season, not to mention an opportunity to sample Nally’s culinary talents. There were some good speeches, some not so good and some very touching moments

The confirmed senior awards are:

Harry Hall Batting Trophy – Tom Hampton

Awarded to individual with best batting average. Must have complete 10 innings & scored over 500 runs.

Nigel Coates League Batting Trophy – Tom Hampton

Awarded to the individual with the best league batting average. Must have completed 5 league innings & scored over 250 runs

Skim Carroll Bowling Award – James Robottom

Awarded to the individual with the best overall bowling average. Must have taken 50 wickets (or passed the qualification set by selection committee in no-one has 50).

Mike Crane League Bowling – James Newton Savage

Awarded to the individual with the best league bowling average. Must have taken 25 wickets (or passed the qualification set by selection committee if no-one has 25).

Pete Cullinan Best Bowling – Tom Coates

Awarded to individual with best match bowling figures

Carr Hurst All Rounder – Tom Hampton

Awarded to the individual with the best all round statistics

Udal Raine Young Performance Award – Henry Newton Savage

Awarded for the best performance by a young player (U19) within senior cricket across the season.

Ian Greenaway Team Player Award – Oliver Hampton

Awarded to an individual who has consistently given their all for the team. Sportsmanship, commitment, effort, attitude & competitiveness should be taken into account. Performances in all senior teams should be considered.

Player of the Year – Tom Hampton

Awarded on the basis of attitude, commitment & on field performance & voted for by the members of HHCC

1st XI Captains Player – Jamie Sones

2XI Captains Player – Tom Poulter

3XI Captains Player – Nally Fernando

Sunday XI Captains Player – Tom Poulter
