Richmond Council Scrutiny Plans – your chance to engage

HHCC is part of a wider community within Hampton Hill and the wider area, it is important for the club and its members to engage in that community. In support of that we have been asked by Richmond Council to help them engage with as many local people as possible with their scrutiny topic selection campaign. This campaign is giving residents the opportunity to help shape the agenda of future Council Scrutiny Panel investigations, by asking them to suggest what subjects they should focus on.

Scrutiny Panels are small committees of Councillors that are set up to examine specific issues in detail. They investigate topics that will improve services to residents in the borough. These issues can be suggested by councillors, council officers or members of the public. The Panel will usually be made up of councillors and may include other representatives who have special knowledge or an interest in the topic.

The attached Have your say flyer provides more information on how to engage. For any questions please email hilary.gullen@richmond.gov.uk
