It is a big week at the club, starting with the AGM on Thursday 26th. The bar will be open from 7.30pm and the meeting will start promptly at 8.00pm. Attendance at the AGM is an important part of club membership as decisions taken on the night affect everyone, so please make every effort to turn up. Apologies should sent to Gill Coates, Honorary Secretary, at email@example.com.
On Friday Night, 27th, the Christmas Lights will be switched on in Hampton Hill High Street. This is always a fun event and, as last year, we will be taking part in the parade. If you want to represent the club – all ages welcome – turn up in cricket whites or training gear (with additional warm clothing as necessary) at 5.45pm. (NB Please do not wear any clothing with TRYZENS branding. Only ASTOUND is acceptable on this occasion.) There will be warming mulled wine, mince pies and an open bar back at the club afterwards, so even if you aren’t in the parade, do come along and join us for an early evening drink. If you are taking part, please confirm with Ian Exworth at Ian.Exworth@directlinegroup.co.uk.
Finally, for one night only, Cabaret comes to HHCC on Saturday with a gala evening of comedy and music, from 7.30pm. To attend this event you must be on the guest list – there will be absolutely no admittance to anyone else on the night. Booking closed last Friday, but if you missed the closing date and don’t want to miss out on this special night, you might just be lucky of you call Gill Coates on 07908 922263 / 020 8873 3040 no later than Wednesday.
On a separate note, the eagle-eyed among you may have spotted our smart new railings around the compound – the first step towards completing this vital storage complex. To help raise funds for the next stage, a building to replace the metal container, we will be holding a Christmas raffle. Tickets will be on sale at the club at all the above events and the raffle will be drawn on Saturday night.
We look forward to seeing you soon,
