The new Colts (junior) cricket season is nearly upon us, and we are pleased to announce details of the new training sessions, the new coaches and the subscription costs We are looking for new junior players every year, so we encourage all of our existing junior cricketers to bring along friends who may be interested in playing / joining
With the number of children expected on a Sunday morning, we need more parents to help out with our training so as to allow our coaches more time developing the childrens’ cricket skills, especially at the KWIK levels. Cricket experience is really not mandatory, just a sense of enjoying sports and making the mornings fun for the participants.
We also need volunteers to help out with the catering side, helping with the kids refreshments or the teas / coffees / sandwiches on sale.
The continued success of our growing colts section relies upon the input of volunteers so please consider how you can help and make yourself known to one of the coaches / support staff if you are willing to assist with any age group, whether for a single session or throughout the season.
The first Sunday morning session will be on April 26th starting at 10am for the KWIKS and the U11s. As before tea/ coffee / breakfast sandwiches will be available
U13s, U15s and U17s training will be confirmed to the relevant squads by your coaches
Hard Ball Cricket – £105 (includes Club membership for a parent @ £50)
KWIK Cricket – £75 (includes Club membership for a parent @ £50)
For families with more than one child participating , there is a 50% reduction in the fee for the 2nd and any subsequent children.
We will be opening the club on Sunday 19th April, for you to register your child for both KWIK and Hard Ball Cricket. You can also pay the subscription at this time. Attendance is not mandatory as we are aware that many of the children are still playing football / rugby etc
Please contact Dave Mackinney to discuss paying the above subscriptions
