If you have been in Bushy Park recently, or checked the photos on the website you will have seen the tremendous progress being made on the new pavilion. Because we are so close to finishing, the Committee has decided to close the ‘Buy a Brick’ campaign which has formed such a big part of the fundraising.
The Phoenix Fund remains open and the fundraising continues, but as we have made a commitment to formally record the names of the people who bought walls for the new pavilion, we have decided to put a finite end on this part of the campaign, so that we can prepare the commemorative wall.
To ensure your name is up there, you need to have reached a minimum donation to the Buy a Brick campaign. ‘Foundation Supporters’ must have donated at least £100 and ‘Benefactors ‘ must have donated at least £500. The Buy a Brick campaign will close on 28th February, so there is still time to top up and make sure your generosity is recorded for posterity.
If you are not sure how much you have donated, please contact Dave Mackinney. (NB : Awards sponsorship, auction purchases, tickets to events, sponsorship of fundraising activities, etc, do not count towards your ‘Buy a Brick’ total. )
