2013 Colts Cricket

Nally has announced the plans for 2013 Colts Cricket (training, registration and the new team coaches) – please see below

“Happy New Year to you all. I hope you all had a good one?

I thought it was a good idea to outline our plans for winter training for 2013.

With the need to still raise funds for the rebuild, we have taken the difficult decision not to run winter training for the U11, U12 & U13 colts this year. Instead with Easter being early this year we aim, (if it ever stops raining), to start outdoors at the start of April. These sessions will be over the weekend & we will email out shortly times & dates. The U15 & U17 will be invited to attend our senior nets that will start on or around Monday 21st January at Hampton School, Hanworth Road Hampton. The times for this will be 8.30pm – 10pm. Cost will be the same as last year at £5/session. We will try & have a couple of games of indoor cricket just to make a change from the normal sessions.  We will have separate lanes for the U15 & U17 with a coach leading them.

Kwik cricket registration will be on Sunday 21st April where we hope to be able to show you the new clubhouse in all its glory & introduce our new welfare officer Michelle McCartney. Sarah will again be keeping us in line as our administrator & Nikki Mackinney will be in charge of the bacon butties!

We agreed at the AGM not to increase the annual subscriptions & we will, as last year, include a polo shirt for the Kwik’s.  Playing shirts will also be available for the other sides as well as I hope, training tops.”
